The NH Bureau of Special Education Supports has issued an updated Special Education Procedural Safeguards Handbook for districts to provide parents of children with disabilities. This handbook has adopted the federal template while also including NH-specific information.
Procedural Safeguards are designed to protect the rights of parents and their children with a disability and, at the same time, give families and school systems several mechanisms by which to resolve their disputes.
